FRANKENSTEIN – A Theatre 21 production

Directed By Britt Forsberg

Performed by Manuel Lavandera

Based on the novel by Mary Shelley

A new solo show full of emotion, intensity and anguish…. in which a man’s happiness turns to madness!

“What have I become”

Victor Frankenstein, passionate about science and committed to the cause of scientific advancement for the common good, creates a human being… but then, repulsed and horrified by what he has done, spurns his creation and runs away.

“Where can one find love ….. everyone needs someone to love”

At some time in our life nature prompts us to fight not to be alone…. it drives us to find and hold on to love no matter what. For Victor and his creation that time has come – and the consequences are disastrous!

But who is the culprit? Who is the victim? How can it be resolved…. be reconciled?

This physically accomplished new working of a classic tale speaks about passion, limits, emptiness, love, desolation, identity and lost emotions.
