Anjali Kale - Sound & Lighting, Stage Manager
Anjali is a BA Business Graduate from Kingston University and also a Diploma holder in Audio Engineering from SAE London. Since joining the Pentameters team in 2007/8, she has stage managed designed sound and lighting and run almost all the shows, working closely with Harry Meacher and Michael Friend.
Theatre credits include Pentameters Productions of A Midsummer Nights Dream, The Tempest, Wind in The Willows, Ivanov, Hound of the Baskervilles, Heartbreak House, Mirror Mirror, The Glass Bottle and The Child, Cattle at Twilight, A Journal of an Urban Robinson Crusoe, Dangerous Corner, The Amulet, Waltz of the Toreadors.
Second Skin Theatre Productions include Rasputin, Burn, Pigeonman Apocalypse, and Valentines Day.
Michael Friend Productions include The Maids, Mrs. Warren's Profession, On the Rocks.
Other credits include Reality Chokes (The Real London Ensemble), Killing Time (Conrad Blakemore), Alice in Wonderland (Butterfly Wheels), I'll Leave It To You (Logos Theatre) Importance of Being Earnest (Logos Theatre), Day of the Dead and Bedtime Tales (Butterfly Wheels).
She was also invited to work on Burn and Reality Chokes for the Ed Fest '09, played the Caterpillar, designed lighting, and built set in Pentameters production of Alice in Wonderland.
She made her directorial debut with The Stars that Play with Laughing Sam's Dice, and has designed all sound elements for The Amulet.
Most recently she has worked on Sound and Lighting at Iambic Arts Theatre for the Brighton Fringe. Productions include Fridays When it Rains (Iambic Arts), The Trials of Galileo (Hint of Lime), Are There More of You? (Hint of Lime) and From The Heart (Beeja Dance Company), as well as lighting a number of music and poetry events.
Anjali will be stage managing for Liberated Theatre Company at Edinburgh Fringe ʼ10 with NEXT! –Death by Audition.
Anjali is also a Bharatanatyam dancer trained by Guru Prakash Yadagudde with a Diploma from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan London. Has formed a home studio suitable for voiceover demos, and creating music/playing with sfx!
