Here’s a set of frequently asked questions – telling you everything you need to know about the Iambic Arts Theatre, Brighton.

Iambic Arts Theatre, Brighton

When should I arrive?

Half an hour before the performance gives you time to collect your tickets or hang out in our lovely intimate bar where you will be made to feel very welcome. Please ensure that you do not arrive after the printed time of any performance, otherwise you may not be able to enter at all. We only do this to avoid disrupting the production.

“Instead of putting others in their place,
put yourself in their place.”
Ralph W Emerson

What should I expect?

We always want you to feel welcome and happy about visiting our Iambic Arts Theatre for the first time (or any time!!)

Ours is a small perfectly built bijou environment, where you will always be made to feel welcome, whether you are on your own, or with friends.

Our bar is intimate, and an easy place to hang out prior and after shows.

In warm weather, you are able to also sit on our roof terrace, where, dare we say it, you are also able to smoke!

Food and drink

Our fully licensed bar offers a substantial range of quality wines and beers, as well as the range of spirits and mixes. For some events, there will also be champagne!

We also provide some pre-packed bar snacks, and, again, depending on the event, we also surprise, with interesting treats!

A relaxed place to make and meet friends.
